A small business without a website looking to attract more customers through their door benefit by actually having this &#039;web presence&#039;, they may otherwise not appear at all in an online search &lt;em&gt;(and miss out on customers)&lt;/em&gt;.  It&#039;s also an added &#039;web presence&#039; for businesses with a website as they &#039;&lt;strong&gt;may&#039;&lt;/strong&gt; appear in the local listing when their own site may not!  

It&#039;s always fruitful to have your business information in as many &lt;strong&gt;&quot;relevant&quot;&lt;/strong&gt; places as possible. Google local aims to help local business maintain that relevance.</description>
