App Cleaner – Remove Hidden App Files on Mac
This quick web tech tip is one I covered quite some time ago, but it’s one that is worth reminding you Mac users about. Especially as the easy to use app cleaner tool has been updated.
You may not realise it but when you download and install applications on your Mac, each app distributes several files throughout your operating system. These files use space on your hard drive and are often referred to as ‘hidden files’.
App cleaner Finds Hidden App Files
Want to clear unused apps off your system? Then removing all those hidden files can be challenging, if you can’t spot them. App Cleaner finds all those small files associated with a particular app and safely deletes them all for you.
Watch the video to see how to do that…
Download from this Page: AppCleaner, it’s free & priceless!
Once you’ve downloaded the app, open it up:
- Just drop an application file onto the App Cleaner window. It will search for and find all the related files for you.
- Confirm and delete them at a click of a button.
Yes, it really is that simple and very effective!
Still one of my favourites.
