Time to give Website Designs Chester a website design and content refresh. It’s long overdue!
You’d think a web design refresh would be the easy part. In one respect it is, because it’s what I do. On the other hand, I can get in my own way and agonise over style, colours and layout just as much as my clients can. I understand and feel your pain!
It’s somehow much more difficult to apply your own advice to your own website!
Website Design Refresh
I’ve been busy working helping others, so I’ve trundled along with my older website design. I liked the previous website design, it was clean and modern yet the structure and layout wasn’t quite working for me, so I’d been ‘making do’. Which just won’t do!
Times change, styles and tastes change, you and your business change. Your website needs to reflect where you’re at right now and give you space to get where you’re heading. Not reflect where you were last year or the year before that!

As much of my own business and personal focus has changed, this pro theme design refresh marks the beginning of reflecting those changes. It’s a refresh starting point for me and no doubt I’ll be tinkering with the design and layout as I move forward with various plans.
Content Refresh
Contrary to my own advice, I write very few articles [blog posts] for my own website, I know, I know! Content is King right!
When you’re busy with client work and life, writing content [blog posts] is not always high on your list of time allocation priorities [that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it].
Seriously, if you haven’t done this in a while, do make the effort to allocate some time to review your website content and articles. A review will highlight the changes you should make to update your content. Your content should reflect your current business aims.
More importantly, your articles should support or benefit your readers and clients. I’m working through my own archives at the moment, having removed some and updated other articles. There will be more changes and updates as I work through these.
Website Design and Content Refresh is Simpler with WordPress
There are many benefits to using WordPress as your website content management system. Your web support team can make the changes for you efficiently and affordably. WP is quicker than changing out individual html coded website pages, especially when a site wide change is required. If you need some help making changes get in touch.
Or, if you’re planning to self-manage your own content changes, once you get the hang of it all, you just need to invest your own time to get them done.
Not using WP yet, or you are but you’re unsure about how it all works?
